Our Story
HOW IT ALL BEGAN: I stumbled upon the world of soap making back in 2005 as a party planner searching for the perfect party favor! I researched and became fascinated with cold process soap making which allowed the soap maker to control all of the ingredients in the soap. What started out as a fascination quickly turned into a soapmaking passion and Olive and Dewdrop was founded in 2010. Our product line has grown to include natural soaps, bath and body gift sets, personalized candle sentiments and custom soap bar favors for weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays and special events!
WHAT'S BEHIND THE NAME? The name “Olive and Dewdrop” came about as I wanted a name that reflected my mission to create a natural soap that not only cleansed, but was made with plant-based oils and butters selected for their nourishing, moisturizing and conditioning properties. Olive oil, the main skin loving oil in our soaps, was chosen because it is great for all skin types, hypo-allergenic, and full of antioxidants. “Olive” is also a symbol of peace.
