Olive Oil - provides a moisturizing and nourishing thick lather to our soaps.  Rich in vitamins A, D, K and E, olive oil contains skin loving antioxidants which help fight damage from free radicals and protect the skin from premature aging. High in Oleic acid, olive oil will absorb into the skin and form a protective barrier against the elements.  It also acts as a humectant, drawing moisture to the skin..

 Coconut Oil - provides a deep cleanse, abundant lather and large fluffy bubbles in our soaps. Coconut oil is an amazing natural product that cleans, hydrates, and leaves your skin feeling smooth and supple. It’s anti-microbial properties help to protect your skin from free radicals and harmful bacteria, it’s also anti-inflammatory and antifungal 

 Shea butter is derived from the nut of the African shea tree.  It is loaded with fatty acids and natural vitamins (A, E, F) and antioxidants.  A natural anti-inflammatory, shea provides a mild stabilizing lotion-like lather and contributes to a hard, long lasting bar.  Shea butter is a skin superfood which works to nourish your skin, without clogging pores. It’s incredibly moisturizing and softening for the skin. Soothing for even the most sensitive skin, shea butter forms a protective barrier which keeps moisture locked in. 

 Avocado Oil - provides a stable conditioning lather.  Rich in vitamins A, B, D and E as well as lecithin, potassium, protein, beta carotene and amino acids  

Castor oil - Castor Oil - Boosts and produces a stable conditioning lather in our soaps.  Super nourishing for the skin, known to boost the production of collagen which hydrates the skin and fights the signs of aging. With anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, castor oil is well-known for its healing characteristics, especially for skin prone to eczema and psoriasis.  Avocado Oil - provides a stable conditioning lather.  Rich in vitamins A, B, D and E as well as lecithin, potassium, protein, beta carotene and amino acids  

 Glycerin is a by-product of the soap making process and naturally occurs in our soaps. Glycerin is a moisturizing humectant that brings a beautiful conditioning quality to each bar of natural soap. Glycerin cleans and moisturizes your skin without clogging your pores, and is very gentle on the skin making it suitable even for those with very sensitive skin.   

Sodium Hydroxide commonly known as Lye is required to make soap. Without it, you cannot have true soap! When soap is made by combining sodium hydroxide (lye), water and oils, a chemical reaction occurs called saponification. The result is soap with naturally retained glycerin (a by-product of the soap making process). Once the soap has gone through saponification and cured, the sodium hydroxide having done its job, is no longer present in the soap. We choose to list Sodium Hydroxide on our soap ingredient labels to inform our customers of each and every ingredient used to make your soap.   

Basil:  The scent is Sweet and Spicy and Uplifting.  Smells like the Basil spice.  Thought to Aid in Alertness.

Bergamot:  Citrus with a Hint of Floral - Uplifting and Relaxing

Cedarwood:  Woodsy, Masculine.  The scent is similar to camphor but with a rich, woodsy, balsalmic undertone.  Astringent and Antiseptic 

Cinnamon Leaf:  Warmy, Spicy and Strong

Chamomile - Sweet and Herbaceous - Relaxing - Thought to Reduce Stress.

Clary Sage -  Slightly Floral and Sweet - Known for it's Calming Properties and is Thought to Help Reduce Stress

Eucalyptus - Camphorous, Clean and Cooling - a real Wake Up Call.  Known to be Anti-Bacterial, Anti-Viral, Anti-Inflammatory, Antiseptic and Anti-Fungal.

Fir Needle - Woodsy and Fresh, Invigorating, Forest Like - Energetic and Stimulating - Antiseptic and Uplifting

Geranium - Rose-Like and Floral - Uplifting and Balances Skin

Grapefruit - Citrus and Fresh - Cooling, Mood Lifting and Refreshing and Energizing

Ginger - Peppery, Sharp, Aromatic and Warm - Thought to Reduce Inflammation and Help with Concentration

Juniper Berry - Warm and Woodsy - Pungent, Herbaceous, Peppery, Pine - Uplifting scent.

Lavender -  Sweet Floral, Herbaceous.  Antiseptic - Thought to Promote Calmness and Wellness and Reduce Stress, Anxiety

Lemon - Citrus, Clean, Sharp, Fresh.  Astringent - Cleansing

Lemongrass - Lemon like and Herbal.  Antiseptic -Anti-Bacterial and Anti-Fungal to Purifies and Tones Skin

Lime - Citrus, Fruity - Astringent - Cleansing

Litsea Cubeba - Lemon like - Tones Skin 

Sweet Orange - Citrusy and Fruity - Thought to Reduce Anxiety -Effective for Keeping Skin Clean and Clear of Acne. Contains Vitamin C Known to Boost Circulation, Promotes Cell Growth and Reduce Dark Spot and Blemishes

Patchouli - Earthy, Exotic Musty - Fosters Relaxation and Neutralizes Odors and Restores Balance.  Anti-Microbial and Regenerative

Peppermint - Cooling, Minty Fresh and Herbal - Anti-Microbial and Antiseptic.  Aids with Itchiness and Skin Irritation.

Rosemary - Herbaceous, Camphorous, Woodsy - Energizing - Astringent

Spearmint - Cooling Minty and Fresh - Energizing - Cleanses Pores and Tightens Skin

Tea Tree - Sharp, Camphorlike - Antiseptic - Known for it's  Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Microbial Properties. It's thought to calm redness, swelling, and inflammation and kills bacteria causing body odor.

Vetiver - Earthy and rich.  Strengthens Nerves, Restful

Ylang ylang - Sensuous, Sweet, Heady, Floral and Slightly Spicy - both Energizing and Relaxing  

Purple Brazilian Clay - known for it's oil absorption qualities for dry to normal skin.

Kaolin Clay - known  for it's oil absorption qualities for all skin types.  Adds a great slip to soaps and creates a thick lather great for shaving

French Pink Clay/Rose Clay - known for its gentle oil absorption qualities which may help improve skin elasticity and cell renewal for younger looking skin.  Gently exfoliating can help to minimize blackheads and promote radiant skin.  For dry or mature skin.

French Green Clay - known for its oil absorption qualities to draw out impurities and toxins while stimulating circulation.  Gently exfoliates dead skin.  For normal to oily skin.

French Yellow Clay - known for its oil absorption qualities to draw out impurities from the skin.  Gently exfoliates dead skin and tightens & tones the skin, leaving it feeling smooth and radiant.

Activated Charcoal - absorbent properties draw out toxins from the skin to remove dirt, and impurities to help minimize pores and smooth skin.  Great for oily skin
